I went to Athens to see a friend and my sister followed for a couple of days. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip.

Over several days we checked out several places including ruins, museums and market. Although I was warned, the attempt by a taxi to scam me still annoyed me. Thank goodness another taxi came up the rank and was nosey. He told the scamming taxi off and offered me a ride according to regulations. He even taught me how to complain to the authorities if it happened again.

The spots within the city are close enough to walk. But public transport and bus services are also good and convenient.

The more obvious tourist spots have a lot of tourists so don’t expect to capture the shot you imagined. :/
