We set off very early from our accommodations knowing that there were 6 festivals in town. And we were right to do so! It was packed!!! There were so many people in the castle, the streets, everywhere!

Our first stop today was the Palace of Holyroodhouse followed by Edinburgh Castle. We parked somewhere then walked to the places we wanted to see. From the parking, we passed by the Scottish Parliament building, several interesting shops and photogenic buildings.

Photography is not allowed inside the Palace.
