Our road trip commenced with an early morning departure from a little town in Misamis Oriental. As we hit the road, the scenic beauty of Mindanao unveiled itself, with beautiful sunrise over vast rice fields, foggy mountains and quaint villages, creating a picturesque backdrop for our adventure.

After over 6 hours of driving, we reached OS Landing, a charming beach resort that served as our gateway to the breathtaking Bretania Islands. OS Landing offers a range of accommodation options, including cozy villas and comfortable guesthouses, providing the perfect base for our island-hopping escapade.

We left the resort at 6AM, hopping on the boat so we can enjoy the morning breeze and cooler temperature. We chose 4 different islands to check out..

There are other beach resorts you can stay in this area, so do check your options. Also, We hired a van to drive us around. Our van with driver cost us Php3,500 per day (roughly £60). You need to pay for the fuel as well as make sure your driver is fed and provide accommodations for multi-day trip.

Overall, it was an enjoyable visit and we will definitely visit again.
