Journey North: Corbridge Roman Town – Hadrian’s Wall

Corbridge is not a fortress but was once a bustling town and a supply base for Romans to pick up food and provisions until the early years of the 5th century, the end of Roman Britain.

They also have a small museum with excavated artefacts including that Copper alloy dodecahedron that flummoxed the archeologists since the 18th century.
